Oxford Dictionaries Online Renewal 2021-2022

Renewal pricing is now available for the Oxford Dictionaries. This dictionary is made available to BC ELN partner libraries through a national site licence negotiated on behalf of Consortia Canada by the Ontario Council for University Libraries. The Oxford Dictionaries model allows institutions to choose which languages they license. The Oxford Dictionaries offer from OUP is available in 9 different languages. Pricing is dependent on number of languages chosen.

 1% increase over last year was negotiated for the renewal this year. Pricing was very late to come out due to ongoing negotiations. The licensing term will remain July 1 - June 30. Any new subscriber to a product will be prorated for a 11 month period to bring them in line with the license. 

 

 


Updates: 

OUP has decided to limit the user levels per database FOR NEW SUBSCRIBERS ONLY to 1, 3, and Unlimited. Pricing below reflects this change. This will not affect renewing subscribers user levels. If a new subscriber would like a different access level than noted below, please contact BC ELN.
