Renewal pricing for the American Council of Learned Societies (ACLS) Humanities E-Book collection, available via Consortia Canada and negotiated by the Ontario Council of University Libraries (OCUL), ia now available. All subscribers will continue to enjoy a 27% consortial discount.

Libraries that are joint members of BC ELN and COPPUL are asked to submit responses to BC ELN.

ACLS Humanities E-Book (HEB) is an online collection of over 5,400 books of high quality in the humanities and related social sciences, accessible through institutional subscription. HEB is available to entire campus communities.

ACLS societies which participate in curating the collection provide title recommendations and vet titles offered for inclusion by individual authors or publishers. HEB’s collection contains many titles which hold awards from ACLS societies, as well as other notable prizes such as the National Book Award, Pulitzer Prize, Choice awards, among others.

Humanities E-Book currently covers multiple fields in the humanities and social sciences, including:
