ATLA Religion Database

This database is an essential resource for religious and theological studies, providing bibliographic records covering topics such as biblical studies, world religions, church history and religion in social issues. Indexed journals are selected for inclusion according to their scholarly merit and scope.

Updated monthly, ATLA Religion Database (ATLA RDB) contains over 1.8 million indexed records covering the research literature of religion in over 60 languages. Most coverage spans from 1908 to the present, while an ambitious retrospective indexing project provides citations of select titles back to their original publication date. Bibliographic records represent scholarship on major religions, faiths, denominations and languages.

ATLA Serials (ATLAS) Online

This database combines the premier indexing from ATLA Religion Database (RDB) with ATLA's online full-text collection of major religion and theology journals.

Produced by the American Theological Library Association (ATLA), ATLA Religion Database with ATLASerials provides coverage dating back to 1908 with indexing for some journal titles extending back into the 19th century. Full-text journal articles and reviews are selected for inclusion by leading religion scholars.
