Background

In 2015, the 2015-17 UFC renewal was conducted by survey and ratified by consensus by the BC ELN Steering Committee with the agreement of all partner libraries. The agreement brought the following benefits:

  • No price increase in 2015-16 for libraries already at the Complete level
  • Upgrades to the Complete level for all other libraries at steep discounts
  • Low price increases (2% to 3%) in 2016/17 and 2017/18
  • A two-year license term, with the option to extend to three years

All libraries now have access to Academic Search Complete and Business Source Complete.
