National Film Board CAMPUS Renewal 2018-2019 [1]
Updates for 2019
- Redevelopment of Campus and new NFB Education platform is slated for 2019 (no official timeline is available)
- Domain authentication is still on pause
- Still adding new releases
Remaining the same
- Films will still be IP authenticated.
- Usage statistics will still be provided on a quarterly basis.
To RENEW, no response is required from current subscribers as listed above. To CANCEL, libraries should contact BC ELN by the response deadline.
Mid-term joins will be accepted at any time and prorated to the common renewal date.
MARC Records:
Each library is to designate a MARC record contact in their response spreadsheet. This person will be set up with a profile that allows them to download the records at https://www.nfb.ca/education/ [2]
Additional library staff can be set up with access to MARC records. They must first create a user profile. Once the profile is set up, the primary eresource contact at the library can write to Chantale Turgeon (C.Turgeon@nfb.ca [3]) with the user’s name and email address, asking that MARC records are activated for their user profile.
Pricing is now available for the NFB CAMPUS license renewing January 1, 2019.
Pricing has increased 1.5% over 2018.
