New Sources available on Lexis Advance Quicklaw
When we created new academic packages this past September for Lexis Advance Quicklaw, we were able to add a large collection of additional sources mostly in the news and business area for both the core as well as the plus package. I will be sending you a listing of these new sources next week. The listing is just in our marketing department to be turned into a PDF document for distribution.
International Sources on Lexis Advance Quicklaw – Some on the platform and some remaining via a link back to legacy Quicklaw.
Many of the International highly used case law, legislation and some commentary sources like Halsbury’s Laws of England sources have been placed on the Lexis Advance Quicklaw platform as of August 2017.
There is a new feature called International Content Sharing that provides a jurisdictional flag system in the search window that can be selected to change to a different jurisdiction. If a customer purchases the premium content they will have US, UK, Australia and New Zealand flags appearing.
There are still sources that have not migrated as yet to Lexis Advance Quicklaw. These are available via the international link back option found on the homepage.
To RENEW, no response is required from current subscribers as listed above. To JOIN, CANCEL or to CHANGE OPTIONS, libraries should contact BC ELN by the response deadline.
Libraries are welcome to join this license after the subscription start date of January 1, 2018. New subscribers will be pro-rated to the common renewal date.

These databases are made available to BC ELN partner libraries through a national site licence, negotiated on behalf of Consortia Canada by the Ontario Council of University Libraries (OCUL). Libraries that are members of BC ELN and COPPUL are asked to send their responses to BC ELN.
Pricing has increased by approximately 1.5% over last year's pricing.
