New Library Administrative Dashboard

We have launched a new library administrative dashboard, offering one-stop access to a number of useful tools for libraries to manage their MUSE holdings. Along with our standard COUNTER 5 compliant usage statistics reports, library customers are able to download customized metadata (MARC records, KBART, title lists) for all their MUSE products, along with metadata for open access content on MUSE if desired. The dashboard is also available for users to submit IP address changes, updates to Open URL and proxy settings, and request changes to how their name is displayed on our website.

OA Content on MUSE

We have expanded our book collection to include several hundred fully open access books from numerous distinguished scholarly publishers. We anticipate hosting hundreds more through initiatives including the NEH Humanities Open Book program, Knowledge Unlatched, TOME, Mellon grants and other publisher and institution driven programs. Books are available in a highly discoverable, adaptable format using HTML5, rather than static PDF’s and include free MARC and KBART records.  https://about.muse.jhu.edu/muse/open-access-overview/
