Books from three new participating publishers are included in the collections, which include a number of new offerings for the upcoming year. Over 37,500 book titles, from more than 100 not-for profit publishers, will be available on the MUSE platform by the end of 2015.
The Association for Scottish Literary Studies, Lawrence and Wishart, and Princeton University Press are the newest publishers contributing books to the MUSE platform. Princeton has included over 2,000 titles from its distinguished backlist, many previously out of print. All three publishers will make books available for individual sale on MUSE as well as via collections.
New collection offerings for 2015 include a new Subject collection, Psychology, and a new Area Studies option, Middle Eastern Studies. Details on all available UPCC Book Collections are at http://muse.jhu.edu/about/order/book_collection_descriptions.html, and title lists may be downloaded from http://muse.jhu.edu/cgi-bin/book_title_list_html.cgi. Some title lists are preliminary and will continue to be updated as more information is available from the publishers.
Also being introduced in 2015 is the first Series Collection on MUSE, Karl Marx and Frederick Engels: Collected Works, a 50-volume set from Lawrence and Wishart. The release of this collection, exclusive to MUSE, marks the first time the definitive English language edition of the Collected Works has been made available in electronic form. Published between 1975 and 2005 and covering 60 years of Marx and Engels writings, including the complete correspondence and newly discovered works, the 50 volumes contain material published for the first time in English and are the most complete in any language.
