BC ELN, COPPUL, TAL, and the Manitoba Library Consortium are participating in a special end-of-year offer for EBSCO eBooks. Through this offer, over 550,000 titles are available at a 20% discount.

All orders must be submitted directly to EBSCO.

  • EBSCO hosted a webinar on the offer on February 17th, 2022. The webinar provided an overview of the offer, demonstrated building and exporting eBook lists in the ECM ordering platform, and demonstrated how to submit final orders for the offer.

Annually, BC ELN, COPPUL, TAL, and the Manitoba Library Consortium participate in this special offer for the purchase of EBSCO ebooks.

eBooks in this offer are only available for purchase with access in perpetuity. There is minimal duplication of titles between this offer and EBSCO’s Academic eBook Subscription Collection.

This ever-growing subscription package contains a large selection of multidisciplinary eBooks representing a broad range of academic subject matter and is a strong complement for any academic collection. The breadth of information available through this package ensures that users will have access to information relevant to their research needs, regardless of what those may be. There are over 550,000 titles in the collection.

Response Instructions

All orders must be placed directly with Robin Corder at EBSCO by the March 18, 2022 deadline.

Submitting an Order

  • All selections for order must be submitted to: Robin Corder (rcorder@ebsco.com / 978-414-0526).
  • eBooks can also be added to a list in ECM and then exported and sent to Robin to place the order. Be sure to enable our “Eligible for Consortia” limiter when searching for eBook titles.  Please do not place any orders directly thought ECM as they will not be eligible for the 20% discount.
  • If you do not have an ECM account, have forgotten your user ID and password, or have an expired account, please contact EBSCO Technical Support at: 1-800-758-5995.
  • **It is important to note that the discount will not be applied for orders placed within ECM, GOBI or OASIS.** The discount will only be applied for orders placed directly with Robin Corder.  Discounts will be reflected in the invoice and Fulfillment Receipts (FFR).  Discounts are not reflected on the quotes.
  • Please be sure to send the billing contact and their email address to Robin for invoicing purposes.

Access Information

  • All ebooks are available at 1B1U (one book for one user at a time) and most of the books are available at 1B3U (one book for three users at a time) and 1BUU (one book for unlimited users at a time). Available access levels are noted in EBSCOhost Collection Manager.

MARC Records

  • If you use OCLC for your MARC Records, you can retrieve your eBook marc records approximately (10) days after purchase, they will reside in your EBSCO eBook folder.  
  • If you have opted in to EBSCOhost Collection Manager (ECM) Rapid MARC Record Program, you will be sent a link once the purchase if completed.  For further questions, please email Robin Corder, rcorder@ebsco.com.
